Overview

Collaborate with the Elle team to oversee the curation of creative assets for the event and production of the live broadcast award show + afterparty. Took lead on creative design, event production and labor management. Also assisted with creative inpiut and key branding installations, signage, and creative for the awards event.

Breakdown

Elle, the world’s largest fashion magazine brand, celebrated the 23rd annual Elle Women in Hollywood awards at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. The event honored the magazine's eight November cover stars: Amy Adams, Kathy Bates, Felicity Jones, Anna Kendrick, Aja Naomi King, Helen Mirren, Lupita Nyong’o and Kristen Stewart for their creative contributions to the world of film. Additionally, several other notable women in Hollywood attended the event, including Shailene Woodley, Nina Dobrev, and Vanessa Hudgens.

The award show recognizes Women in Hollywood who are trailblazing the industry currently or up & coming superstars. During the event, the honorees gave powerful speeches about their experiences in the industry, touching on topics such as sexism, ageism, and diversity. They also spoke about the importance of women supporting and lifting each other up in the workplace. Overall, the event was a celebration of the achievements of women in the entertainment industry and a call to action for continued progress towards equality and representation.
